Valentine blocks!
I pieced the valentines blocks for the teacher-gift bags I’m hoping to make tomorrow. As a pregnant, SAHM of 2 littles, I’m not having much energy to sew at night these days… But I really want to make up some valentines bags for our preschool teachers… I cut these strips this morning, and am hoping that by posting these this morning, I’ll feel obliged to whip up some pieced/quilted bag pieces tonight… I love strips.

This bag is my tester, to see if I could figure out how to set the zipper in below the top edge, without having to cut the front into 2 pieces. Of course, this method means that tabbing my zippers is completely unhelpful, but at least I figured out the hard part. Side note: my house smells lively because the Jasmine is all blooming and beautiful. I love LA winters. Oh, and my apologies for all the tester/missing posts.
