Starts and finishes.
The last snowball star block finally got pieced. Midnight likes my Blythe scraps as much as I do. I’m OBSESSED with this coloring book. I do a few little bits every night. And some bee blocks from...
Read MoreVintage Davy Crockett
I bought a vintage Davy Crockett costume pattern on etsy a few weeks ago, and then got ahold of some gorgeous Essex Linen (in Camel), and gave up on finding nice vinyl or leather fringe, and accepted the faux stuff they sell at Joann. Luckily it came together really well, and the boy-o woke up today (his birthday), and found this complete costume awaiting… He’s actually using it to play “Woods Runner” (because he loved the book by Gary Paulsen), not Davy, but that’s the joy of costumes, right? the fringe was stiff and icky feeling, so we washed and dried it...

My kiddos need more play food, so I asked Santa for this book. I made the apple tonight, and it came out rather small. More like a homegrown apple than a store bought apple. Which is fine. I’m sure D will appreciate it. My red is not showing up nicely here, but it is a candy apple red rather than a fire engine red. Still appley though, not weird orangy brown red like the picture shows.Joanns is...
